2009 Suzuki RM-Z450 Now In Australia

The 2009 model of new Australasian Supercross Champion Chad Reed's weapon of choice, the Suzuki RM-Z450, is now available in Australia.

The first mass-produced motocrosser to feature a fuel injected engine, the RM-Z450 has revolutionised off-road racing, taking Suzuki to success across the globe.

With Reed at the helm, the Suzuki RM-Z450 stormed to the inaugural Australasian Supercross Championship, winning six of the seven rounds.

Sporting a bold new look, the 2009 model is powered by a 449cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid cooled, DOHC, 4-valve engine, with Suzuki's pack-leading Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system.

The potent powerplant combines with a competition-bred slim chassis, five-speed transmission and impressive brakes and suspension to produce a race-winning package.

A gold-coloured chain and yellow numberplate complete the factory look of the 2009 Suzuki RM-Z450, accompanying its new Solid Black / Champion Yellow livery with new graphics.

Suzuki's 2009 RM-Z450 is now available for an RRP of $11,190*.
